When COVID upended our plans for WIN Summit 2020, we could have hit pause. Instead, we built something new in real time.
“Women on the Front Lines” was a one-day virtual event hosted in May of 2020. An experience WIN Summit created to support the women carrying the weight of the pandemic at home, at work, and in their communities. In less than a month, the Director and I partnered to reimagine our annual in-person event into a digital program that offered both live and pre-recorded sessions focused on resilience, well-being, and practical tools for navigating uncertainty.
I led the production and build, including designing the event webpage that served as the all-day home base where attendees could drop in and out of the sessions they needed most. It was my first fully virtual event, and it brought together speakers, partners, and nearly 1,000 attendees in a shared moment of learning, support, and momentum when connection mattered most.
